With the global reach of the internet and the prevalence of mobile devices, it is a challenge to imagine a world before digital technology. We are already living through a second phase in web development, Web 2.0, with massive and profound changes promised in the coming decade--the Semantic Web.

This course introduces fundamental concepts of Digital Marketing. Students will evaluate digital marketing strategies while developing and refining their own. The class will consider Consumer Behavior and discuss the power of Integrated Marketing Communication. We will explore the future of Digital Marketing and E-commerce, influenced by the Internet of Things and Big Data.
